Logging in to LoanLink
Steps to log in
- After the financial aid officer has registered and obtained a username and temporary password, enter www.nelliemae.com/fao in the browser address bar.
- Enter your Nellie Mae-assigned username and password, then click go.
Note: During the first log-in, the user will be required to change his/her password. The password field is case sensitive. Your password must be 8–14 characters in length and contain all of the following:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Numeric characters
Important: After three consecutive failed log-in attempts, you must contact the Nellie Mae web site administrator to regain access to LoanLink.
Changing the Password To change your password voluntarily, click the Change password after log-in checkbox under the username and password boxes at www.nelliemae.com/fao and log in using your current password. You will then be prompted to enter and confirm your new password.
